Established in 2002 by families bereaved by suicide, Console is a registered charity that supports and helps people affected by suicide. It seeks to promote positive mental health with the aim of reducing the high rate of attempted and completed suicide in Ireland.

Beneficiary ProjectServices are available nationwide and are important for many individuals and families in the Limerick area. Funding will enable: the enhancement of its professional services for users in the region with a new Suicide Crisis Centre the provision of educational programmes for schools, colleges and workplaces increased availability of its National Helpline
