Cuan Mhuire, Bruree, Co. Limerick was established in 1977 as a treatment and rehabilitation centre for people suffering from addictions. The Centre provides detoxification and a 12-week residential treatment programme to approximately

Beneficiary ProjectCuan Mhuire also provides follow-up and after-care services for service users and has highlighted the need for support to people who have completed treatment programmes in the areas of literacy, numeracy and vocational skills training. Such programmes are seen to considerably increase the chances of residents finding employment following their discharge. Funding will enable: the construction of a multi-disciplinary training workshop block a horticulture training facility and a potato storage facility
