Beneficiary Project

Cheshire Ireland provides supported accommodation, respite and community services to adults with physical disabilities from 18 centres around Ireland.

Rathfredagh Cheshire Home, near Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick, opened in 1971 and was later extended to provide lifetime adaptable homes to people with severe physical and sensory disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries. Funding will enable: the provision of a hydrotherapy pool making it possible for service users to exercise and receive treatment in water. Such treatment will make a considerable impact on their well-being and quality of life
