Westlife are made up of a quartet of possibly the most recognisable Irish faces on the planet after Bono; Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Since their formation in July 1998, Westlife have gone on to sell over 44 million records worldwide. They have come a long way since their days as the undiscovered pop vocal group and have managed to garner 14 number one singles in the United Kingdom, the third-highest in UK history, tying with Cliff Richard and trailing behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles. After a run of 14 number one singles, 10 chart-topping albums, 40 million sales, a sequence of yearly record-breaking, fan-delighting stadium tours, the boys of Westlife took a year off in 2008 to recharge their batteries and spend time with their families. The Westlife lads have now returned to centre stage with their 10th album ‘Where We Are’ and a tour of the same name kicking off in May 2010 with X-Factor runners up, JLS and Jedward supporting the band.
