Hatton had an excellent year in 2018 which saw him debut for Europe at the Ryder Cup in Paris, and he qualified for Team Europe again in 2021 at Whistling Straits. In March 2020, Hatton won his first PGA Tour tournament at the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational and he followed this up with a win at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth – a result which elevated him into the top 10 in the OWGR rankings for the first time. Hatton’s good form has continued into 2022 with a T2 finished at the most recent Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
